COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This advanced, instructor-led course provides in-depth training on the Honeywell Optimizer Advanced Plant Controller, including architecture, commissioning, network configuration, IO programming, security, and hands-on application development. Students will complete over 20 labs and finish with a Honeywell Factory Certification exam to validate their expertise.

• Optimizer Advanced Plant Controller architecture, features & specifications

• RNDIS communication, commissioning, and station setup

• Panelbus networks, IO expansion modules & configuration

• MMI display programming

• Network switch functions including RSTP, MAC filtering & diagnostics

• SSL/TLS certificate-based security

• Application development, control logic, schedules, alarms & backups

• Network data sharing & Niagara network integration

• USB backups, clean distribution, and factory reset procedures

• Personal Laptop with Physical Ethernet Port 1USB adapter OK)

• Cat5e76 Patch Cable

• External PC Mouse

• Windows 10711 with Admin Access (No Domain Logon)

• VPN and Antivirus must be fully disable-capable

• Firewall ports are configurable

• Valid Honeywell Optimizer Niagara N4 license

• Honeywell Optimizer N4 4.14 software installed
